Carl, a little tip for you.
Type Les Wampas into Google, and there will be a link for a page translated into English. For each page you view, you will need to copy the page address and paste it into the Google search box, but it does the job.
Just picked up their "Rock N Roll Part 9" album and am enjoying it quite a bit. But when I go to their site...I can't read a dang thing! LOL! I am presuming they are French, so I know some of you can help me out here. It seems that they have been around for almost 20 years and have a ton of stuff. What's the deal with them and how are they viewed in their homeland?

yeah they're big here... I'm not too much into their stuff but I saw them once at a festival and thought that they were fun live, they played just after Radiohead and the singer said "oh why is this singer so sad, let's cheer him up" and made the crowd (like 40,000 people) shout "cheer up Tom, cheer up Tom", haha... their new single basically means "let's put Chirac in jail" : )
Other than that, I was at their press conference on that day and their singer seems like a nice and intelligent guy despite his "clown" image.

I was kind of guessing that the title for the song Chirac going to prison or something. Heh, I guess Punks don't like the countries leaders no matter where you go, eh?
I like the CD quite a bit. Good band, and if they have been around since '83, as I read, then I am really impressed by the freshness that they actually still have. They sound good for a band who is 23 years old!
